April 7th, at Vinh Phuc province, Dr. Tran Bach Giang – Director of Vietnam Department of Survey and Mapping had handed over a set of topographic maps in scale of 1/ 2000 for the new urban areas of Me Linh – Vinh Phuc – Phuc Yen to leaders of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Vinh Phuc
Prime Minister signed Decision No. 33/2008/QĐ-TTg on the 27th of February 2008 approved development strategy for Vietnam Survey and Mapping sector up to 2020
Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment had a meeting with the leaders of Department of Survey and Mapping and Department of Planning and Finance to discuss about the approved decision for the installation of a new GPS station in the central coast at Quang Nam
