April 7^th, at Vinh Phuc province, Dr. Tran Bach Giang – Director of Vietnam Department of Survey and Mapping had handed over a set of topographic maps in scale of 1/ 2000 for the new urban areas of Me Linh – Vinh Phuc – Phuc Yen to leaders of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Vinh Phuc

September 6th 2007, Department of Survey and Mapping and Korean Environment Institute had co-organized the International workshop on “Establishment of a cooperation system in environment information exchange between ASEAN countries” at Ha Noi

Recently, the 5^th round meeting of joint Vietnam-Cambodia technical sub-commission for in-land demarcation of Viet Nam – Cambodia was held in Phnom Penh. At this meeting, both parties already agreed and accepted the recently demarcated boundary landmarks
